These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website valstrongplumbing.com and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Valstrong Plumbing Inc ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Valstrong Plumbing Inc is a California-licensed plumbing contractor (CSLB #1120682, C-36 Plumbing) serving San Diego County. Bonded and insured. Owner: Alex Valdez.

2. No Professional Advice Given Online

Nothing on this website — including blog posts, cost-guide pages, chat responses, email newsletters, and service descriptions — constitutes professional plumbing diagnosis or repair advice. Plumbing systems vary, and issues that appear similar can have very different causes. An accurate diagnosis and safe repair plan requires an on-site assessment by a licensed plumber. Do not use information from this website as a substitute for that.

3. AI Chat Assistant

Our website includes an AI-powered chat assistant ("AI Assistant"). By using it, you understand and agree that:

• You are interacting with artificial intelligence, not a human. The AI Assistant is clearly labeled and will confirm its AI status if you ask.
• Responses may be incorrect or outdated. AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. You should not rely on AI responses for diagnostic, pricing, warranty, scheduling, or safety decisions.
• No binding commitments. Nothing the AI Assistant says creates a contract, quote, warranty, appointment, or promise of service. All such terms come only from Alex directly, in writing, after an on-site assessment or scheduled call.
• Emergencies. Do not rely on the AI Assistant for emergency response. If you have a gas leak, active flooding, no water, sewer backup, or any other urgent situation, call (619) 977-2772 immediately or dial 911 as appropriate.
• Data processing. Messages you send to the AI Assistant are processed by Anthropic PBC on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Estimates & Quotes

Any pricing ranges shown on our cost-guide pages or mentioned in marketing content are illustrative only and are not a quote. Final pricing is provided by Alex in writing after an on-site assessment. Written quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote (typically 30 days). We may decline any job that falls outside our service area, licensing scope, or scheduling capacity.

5. Booking & Cancellations

Submitting a contact form, using the chat assistant, or requesting a quote does not automatically schedule service. Appointments are confirmed by Alex directly, typically by text or phone. We ask that you give reasonable notice for cancellations so we can offer the slot to another customer.

6. Workmanship Warranty

Specific warranty terms are documented on the invoice or written quote for each job. In general, we warrant our labor for the period stated on the invoice, and manufacturer warranties apply separately to parts and fixtures. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, unrelated pre-existing conditions, or work performed by others after our visit.

7. Review Requests

After a completed job, we may send a one-time email invitation asking you to leave a public review. You are under no obligation to respond, and declining has no effect on our willingness to work with you in the future.

8. Marketing Emails

If you opt in to our email list, we send occasional plumbing tips and seasonal reminders. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email; unsubscribe requests are honored within 10 business days as required by law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Valstrong Plumbing name, logo, and website content are owned by Valstrong Plumbing Inc. You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute this content without written permission, except that you may print or share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, regarding the website itself. This section does not affect any express warranty we provide on completed plumbing work.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Valstrong Plumbing Inc, its officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the website or the AI Assistant. Our total liability arising from the website or AI Assistant will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). This limitation does not apply to our in-person plumbing services, which are governed by the invoice and applicable California law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the website will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
